So, I'm breaking up with Substack
Because I'm not gonna keep my blog on a platform that promotes literal Nazis and white supremacists. Substack's leadership has made it clear they're prioritizing "free speech" over the safety of marginalized creators and readers, and I can’t stand with that
As a Black, queer, neurodivergent creator, I can't in good conscience stay somewhere that believes that my existence – and the existence of my audience and clients – isn’t worthy (but wants my money???)
if not Substack, then where??
I’m over on my own website at blog.suejannoreiga.com! Same content, same energy, just without the Nazi problem 😅
Hosting my content on my own website also does double (triple?) duty for me cos I get to own my content, slim my tech stack, and keep my audience in one place, smoothing your experience
